The only 2 pieces I cannot find replacements until much further down the road are the Helm and the Gloves, the shoulders are arguable upgradeable with the Beastmaw Pauldrons in

I am looking for some advice about this specific set.
I just ran my second lvl 70 instance and low and behold another piece of the Beastlord set drops. So now I have the Chestpiece and Gloves.
I was told I really only need 2 pieces of this set as the set in completion is really not all that good.
So here's the question.
1.) is this true?
and yes I said question but I have more than one.
2.) if it is... then what pieces should I aim for as good items to keep on me? (I am still pretty much decked out in quested greens and the 2 marksman items from Halaa. See sig if
you want to see what exactly I am wearing)
